Turnkey Constructions

  • Design, Supply, Fabrication, Installation and Commissioning of Automated Car Parking System– Complete in all respects.
  • Design, Supply, Fabrication, Installation and Commissioning of Steel Structure with Car Parking Racking System– Complete in all respects, as per approved drawings from the local municipalities.
  • Building and system(s) permits and inspections.
  • Environmental testing and wind / seismic and static loads calculation (if necessary)

As part of the Turnkey the Civil works undertaken by Spacegate involves the following.

  • Mobilization of site / taking-over of site
  • Pile head cutting
  • Excavation to the required levels
  • Leveling and Compaction
  • Cleaning of the Shoring Piles
  • Dewatering System Incl. maintenance to keep the System working
  • Lean Concrete placement
  • Water proofing membranes with the special care to pile heads
  • R.C.C Raft Foundation with provisions for steel structure
  • Water proofing to the sides
  • R.C.C Retaining wall with provisions for steel structure
  • Ground floor R.C.C slab with provision for automated system as per Specialist’s (SAPS) requirements
  • R.C.C. Roof slab with water proofing provisions

As part of the Steel structure Erection and installation Spacegate will supply the full Steel Structure and all related Materials complying with the specification as per the approved design including the Erection of Steel Structure for SAPS.


Mechanical and Electrical

Spacegate takes responsibility for all the systems from the output of the substation excluding the substation, up to final connections.

Electrical Installation

  • Provide and install all the electrical installation as per local authority regulations in accordance with the CSI specifications or equivalent.
  • Telephone system installation: provide and supply all ducts, manholes, cables junction box, telephone sockets, data junction, telephone devices and all necessary connections, and local supplier approval.
  • Low current system
  • CCTV system
  • Access control system
  • Diesel generators
  • Electrical Works - Main power supply and connection
  • Submit all shop drawings for all the systems to the authorities and to have their approval

Mechanical and Installation

  • Ventilation system as per local Municipality requirement
  • Fire alarm and fire fighting system shall be submitted as recognized standards and shall be as per Local Civil Defense requirements and approval
  • Drainage system shall be according to Authority requirement
  • Drainage/sewerage connections to the building system
  • Water system shall be according to Authority requirement
  • Sprinklers, fire warning or protection system as per Civil Defense Approval.

Equipment Installation and Test Runs

Equipments once installed will have regular test runs to check the achievement of the TIS based on the thru put. The highest priorities are to ensure:

  • The high quality, standards and security of the products
  • The adherence to the standards of implementation
  • The appearance of the public area design
  • The operating standards of the fully automated parking facilities.

Spacegate delivers and implements the systems to the point of sign off and start of commercial use of the parking facility by the owner/client.
